CUTTING – DRY CUT
The first dry grinding wheel. The DRY CUT series is an innovative approach to processing ceramics and porcelain for increased line efficiency. The high, precise, and rapid stock removal rate enables flawless cutting and increases productivity. Extremely flexible, it is able to process different sizes without stopping the line, using the same disc type for all thicknesses and materials. The surface will be perfectly even and uniform, and will facilitate quick, easy, visually impeccable installation thanks to the minimal joints required. DRY CUT increases sustainability through its low energy use and reduced water consumption. Available in different types of grain and binder.
SATIN FINISHING – FLEXY VELVET SERIES
The perfect matte is now possible thanks to the combination of Surfaces T.A. and Luna Abrasivi tools.
The result? Perfectly uniform, smooth satin finishes with no shadows visible to the naked eye, a very fine grain and very low gloss.
The tools process the surface, offering matte results never previously achieved and great flexibility in adapting to different types of tiles, including extra-thick, semi-polished tiles and slimline wall covering categories.
LAPPING – FLAT REFLEX POLISHING SYSTEM
FLAT REFLEX FINISHING SYSTEM is a revolution in ceramics, a universal solution for both technical (unglazed) and glazed porcelain. It is able to process all the different types of porcelain, handling traditional products, even the most innovative glazed materials, and both slim and extra-thick slabs, with the same technology. It meets all the needs of every production cycle, is completely customizable and configurable to requirements, and adapts to the various processing phases. As well as the extreme elasticity which enables multiple product lines to be processed with the same plant, it guarantees higher productivity and improved finished product appearances.
GLOSSY FINISHING – UNIFORM
The new range of uniforming polishing wheels that combine their effect with the downstream SUPERSHINE, to enhance the even, glossy finishing and protection of the most widely varying types of slabs. Added to the line after lapping, they provide the right degree of gloss, roughness and porosity for optimal preparation of any surface, regardless of colour and size. They remove all defects and guarantee a high-quality slab finish while maintaining the right degree of porosity and uniformity for the action of SUPERSHINE, which seals and protects the service and completes its glossy finishing. A team that works in tandem, avoiding the need to change wheel sequence to suit different materials, colours or tile sizes.
CARING FOR SURFACES – ANTIBACTERIAL
This new line extends the performances of the standard range while maintaining all its treatment properties undiminished. It works on both polished and lapped slabs, giving them the added benefit of antibacterial treatment. Tests performed in accordance with the international ISO 22196:2011 standard have proved the ANTIBACTERIAL FORMULA range to be effective in any lighting conditions, even with low light levels and in the dark, and reveal that the bacterial load drops considerably after just one hour of contact with treated surfaces, continuing to decrease in subsequent hours to a value of 99.99% efficacy.
SQUARING – REMOVE
The new grinding wheel for dry squaring technical (unglazed) and glazed porcelain. It can be used on all the various sizes including strips, ceramic tiles or extra-thick porcelain, and is outstanding for its excellent cutting capability and precision, which remain constant at both low and extremely high feed speeds. It always maintains the line setting, without closing, thanks to its self-sharpening capability. It provides exactly what the line needs, with less operator intervention. It is the most versatile response to all the various porcelain dry squaring requirements.
