Il processo d’innovazione non conosce soluzione di continuità in Surfaces Group. La necessità di agevolare il processo di problem solving, accorciandone i tempi, monitorando le variabili e riducendo i margini d’incertezza, ha suggerito la creazione di una struttura in grado di riprodurre in scala le condizioni di lavoro in linea. Nel 2013 è diventato operativo il Surfaces Lab, un impianto dove operano ingegneri, chimici e Senior Technical Specialist, con l’obiettivo di sviluppare e testare le nuove soluzioni integrate: non solo nuovi prodotti, quindi, ma nuove combinazioni di prodotti.
The process of innovation in Surfaces Group continues without interruption. The need to facilitate the process of solving problems, reducing time, monitoring the unexpected and decreasing the margins of uncertainty, has led to the creation of a structure able to reproduce in-line work conditions. In 2013, Surfaces Lab became operative; a plant employing engineers, chemical workers and Senior Technical Specialists, with the aim of developing and testing new integrated solutions: not only new products, but also new combinations of products.
