RBM Italia

RBM Italia has been making polishing wheels for flat glass for more than 50 years. The company, which was incorporated in Baldichieri d’Asti in 1963, focuses its operations on the development of original formulations to optimise the performance of polishing machines. The market immediately responded positively to the innovations introduced by RBM Italia and the polishing wheels, supplied as original equipment, gained recognition in Italy and in other countries.

In the ‘80s and ‘90s, with the first cerium, resin and polyurethane wheels, RBM Italia consolidated its technological leadership, achieving a position of pre-eminence that is still acknowledged all over the world. In recent years, RBM Italia has redoubled its commitment to the development of low environmental impact work processes, helping to transform the glass industry in ecological terms.

While preserving its heritage, built around its association with the Reynaud family, RBM Italia was acquired by ADI in 2018 and became a member of Surfaces Group, bringing its know-how in a new logical structure and benefiting from the stimuli generated by a new multidisciplinary approach.

The RBM Italia range is divided into polishing wheels for glass, customised for the main polishing machines on the market, and wheels for low-E glass.

RBM Italia develops wheels in more than 26 different formulations: rubber, resin, polyurethane and cerium for edge and arris polishing.
