10 SUCCESSFUL YEARS IN CERAMIC SURFACE FINISHING SOLUTIONS
10 September 2010: the story of Surfaces Technological Abrasives begins. Drawing on their twenty-year experience in stone processing abrasives, a group of professionals decide to found a new business, with the aim of becoming industry leaders in ceramic treatment, in the sector’s number one district, Sassuolo.
Surfaces Technological Abrasives has fulfilled its aim of becoming the biggest player in the design and supply of the most innovative, highest-performing end-of-line solutions. Floor and wall coverings and counter-tops, all polished and perfectly honed with every level of gloss required, or with 3D effects. The guarantee of protected, durable surfaces, always lovely to look at and resistant to scratches, stains, corrosives, heat and foot traffic. Thanks to its trademark enthusiasm for trialling new application processes and new tools to improve the production performances of ceramic and stoneware surface treatment plants.
Its strong R&D vocation has led to the birth of two Surfaces Labs in the world’s foremost ceramics districts, at Sassuolo in Italy and Castellón in Spain. Their mission is to constantly design new trials for the development, in synergy with customers, of rapid, made-to-measure solutions, ready in advance to respond to all the market’s latest needs. This vocation has also driven the foundation of a genuine Surfaces Academy, which runs highly specialised training programmes for technical staff, the Ceramic Finishing Advanced Engineers of the future.
